It’s time to start comparing apples to apples people! For as long as you can remember, you were probably told to stop picking, well not here! Grab the family or just a friend and go out and visit one of Minnesota’s premier apple orchards. Established in 1971, Historic Sponsel’s Minnesota Harvest Apple Orchard is one of the largest apple orchards in the state of Minnesota, with 40,000+ trees on 300 acres. Located in Jordan, MN just South of Minneapolis.

It’s not all about the apples though, also find Wagon rides, Kiddie Train, Hay Jumping Castle, Live Music by Cactus Willie, Petting Zoo, Corn Maze, Vintage Horse & Carriage Rides, and more. Inside you’ll find Dickens Village Shops, Gourmet Grocery Store, Susan’s Tea Cup, Woodworkers World, Artist’ Corner, and Old Fashioned Dry Goods Shop. Cavalia – Mix of Equestrian and Performing Arts in Minneapolis / Twin Cities Minnesota September 21, 2011 – October 9, 2011. For Horse Lovers and Show Lovers!

45 Four Legged Athletes (Horses) and 86 Two Legged Performers (riders, acrobats, aerialists, dancers and live musicians) under the largest traveling White Big Top Tent featuring a stage the size of a football field are in the Minneapolis, St. Paul Twin Cities of Minnesota (St. Louis Park, MN, I-394 and Highway 100)! From the co-founder of Cirque du Soleil, Cavalia is the creation of Normand Latourelle. The Cavalia website states the show is “a spectacular and moving tribute to the relationship between men and horses throughout history, a dream of freedom, cooperation and harmony”. It’s a poetic tribute to horses and the horses are the stars! Horses range in age from 5 month old colts to a 19 year old Lusitano stallion named Edros. Half of the horses are stallions who are known to be more spirirted performers, though harder to train, than geldings and mares. There are no mares in the Cavalia show. It takes 90 semi trailers to transport the show. Cavalia has been seen by nearly 3 million people over 1,700 performances while visiting 40 cities in Canada, United States, and Europe over the last 7 years.
